Blueberries and Almond Snack

Blueberries & Almonds

Organic blueberries and raw almond snack.

Wondering what to nibble on when the afternoon munchies appear ? Why not set out a bowl of blueberries and a handful of raw almonds instead of the chips or cookies.

Living in and around Vancouver B.C. we are surrounded by mountain and blueberry farms.  Just travel to Richmond,  Ladner or your local farmer’s market and blueberries are in abundance.  A couple of weeks ago I purchased these amazing organic blueberries at Ladner’s Farmer’s Market from Shalefield Organic Gardens.  Next market is this Sunday so don’t miss out on getting some local produce and enjoy the live entertainment.

I know you are probably wondering how I can still have fresh produce after all this time.  Well for starters I don’t have a large family to feed where those berries would be long gone.  Count your blessings  but for me I need to keep things fresh for more than a few days, so I use the green medium Tupperware FridgeSmart for my berries and they last anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks.  The small and small deep sizes would work well too.  These product are available at mytupperware.ca/yetnam and are priced between $18.50 to $29.50 each can be yours for free when you host a Tupperware Party.
