When I was looking for some fresh fish in Walmart (ok maybe the wrong store), the cashier told me that all the fish in Florida are previously frozen even when you see them nicely laid out in the display cases of the local Publix grocery store. Hmmm !!! So I need to find out what the local fish are called, when they are in season and go on a fish finding expeditions which I will talk about in later blog posts. So be thankful for the wonder fresh Salmon and Halibut you have in BC and stay away from the farmed fish.
