So all you BC’er’s must be getting pretty tired of all that great summer weather you have been having. What M and I have noticed is that when the weather is hot and sunny in B.C. then Ontario’s weather is the opposite and this year is no exception. Everyone here has been moaning about the unseasonably cool summer but we did get a small redemption this weekend. Here is a snapshot of the weekend starting with the Friday night campfire at John’s and watching the sun set and ending with Sunday night on the deck of the tree house watching the super moon set with a glass of wine (of course !).

We had a full house again this weekend, with Lucas arriving from Halifax for a two week stay and Marah, Ian and Griffin coming up for the weekend. Also, it was the weekend of Sauble Beach’s annual summer beach festival, so on Saturday morning we headed to check out the antique car show and sand castle building contest. Saturday night M and I went to the blues concert on the beach and Sunday afternoon we went to another concert at Earthbound (our local garden centre) with the two L’s. This was followed by a boat trip to Beaman Island to hang out with the neighbours in our favourite island cove to soak up some of the sun and take a dip in the lake.
It was a great weekend but unfortunately we are back to stormy weather again today and it’s beginning to feel a lot like Fall ! LOL! So the sun must be shining in BC! Miss you All ! Y.
